Dawn Sears is a Nashville fixture, as part of the group The Time Jumpers, which includes country great Vince Gill.  Dawn is in stage 4 of lung cancer... a fundraiser to fight lung cancer took place just outside of Nashville on Nov 30th. It was hosted by Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton and featured performances by Vince Gill and the legendary Reba McEntire. Over $100,000.00 was raised for this great cause and Frank was grateful to be a part of it.

Frank's new single released to radio on Oct 14!

Frank's new single, "My Old Man," released to nationwide to country music radio on Oct 14, 2014.  It is a powerful song from a son about his father.

Frank opened for the legendary band The Mavericks on April 23rd in Nashville as part of the "Manuel 81st Birthday Celebration"...It was a packed house and great concert!

Frank Rocks the official CMA Awards Afterparty!

Well, the 2013 Official CMA Afterparty is a wrap! Frank and fellow country artist Craig Morgan were featured this year at the official CMA afterparty following the CMA Awards Show in Nashville.  The afterparty took place directly following the CMA Awards Show at Tequila Cowboy in Nashville. A big shout out to radio station TheBig98 WSIX, the CMA and Dos Equis!

Frank Makes his Billboard Debut!

Frank's latest single, "Two Places at Once," debuted this week on the Billboard chart! This single will be on his upcoming album and is receiving national airplay.  Stay tuned for some great news about Frank's album and a few other things Frank is involved with!

Frank Performs at Manuel's Grand Opening

Frank's dear friend, the legendary clothing designer "Manuel," recently had a grand opening of his new location in Nashville.

"I can never say no Manuel," Frank stated.

The evening consisted of a VIP/MEDIA event and models all wearing Manuel's collection pieces throughout the crowd, with Frank ending the night with a full band performance.  Frank wore a pair if his custom made pants by the man himself.  For more info on Manuel, click here.

Frank's Arizona Concert Raises 7K!

Frank recently performed a benefit concert in his home state of Arizona for the families of our 19 fallen firefighting heroes who recently died fighting fires in Yarnell, Arizona. He teamed up with the Arizona nonprofit "100 Club" and was able to present $7,000.00 that night to them. All monies were placed in the 100 Club's "Survivors Fund," which is distributed to the families of our fallen heroes. We would like to acknowledge radio station WJSQ 101.7 in Athens, TN for also raising $2,280.00 during a performance Frank gave them in 10 Mile TN; the good folks over there showed why Tennessee is known as the Volunteer State!

 

Frank would also like to thank 96.3 Real Country in Arizona for all their support in building up to this show, as well as their continued support.

Frank to Headline Benefit for Fallen Arizona Firefighters

Frank has teamed up with the nonprofit organization "100 Club," and is coming home to Arizona where he will headline a benefit concert for the families of the 19 fallen firefighting heroes who died fighting fires this past June in Yarnell, Arizona. Ticket and donation proceeds will benefit the families of the 19 firefighters. It's gonna be a great night, as Frank's live shows are gaining quite a reputation! Tickets are available HERE!

Music On The Menu with WJSQ

Recently Frank was invited by radio station WJSQ to perform at their "Music on the Menu" event.  Frank asked if he could raise money for his August 8th benefit concert for the families of our 19 firefighters who died in his home state of Arizona.

Frank stated, "To say the folks of Ten Mile, TN have heart would be an understatement!  They just gave me money all night long!"

These great people not only bought Frank's custom Dos Equis guitar for the charity, they asked if they could buy Frank's cowboy hat, his belt, and even one of his silver bracelets!  He took it all off on stage, and by the time it was all over, Frank raised $2,285 that night, which goes toward his $10K goal for his August 8th concert. Thank you to WJSQ and the great folks at the Euchee Marina Resort in beautiful Ten Mile, TN, and thank you to the great people who attended that night!  Take a look at the buyer of Frank's cowboy hat and belt, and a winning donator of one of Frank's guitars-- they wear 'em well!

Frank invited some friends to join him onstage and together they raised a total of $2,200 for www.WeHelpAnimals.net, a nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Franklin, TN. The result was a packed house, and once again Frank auctioned off one of his Dos Equis/FO guitars!

Frank has raised more than $12,000 for animal charities in the greater Nashville area to date - stay tuned for his next animal charity fundraiser! 

 

CMA fest 2013 is a wrap!

Frank performed and hosted another CMA stage this year.  Along with media interviews, charity events, and other downtown performances, CMAfest 2013 was a success! We will post more pics soon along with new tour dates.  We look forward to seeing you at CMAfest 2014!!

That's right! Frank is about to enter the Billboard chart, his new single "Two Places At Once" is currently in the "New and Active" status on the Billboard Chart. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to watch his progress!

Frank's new single goes to radio!

Frank's new single entitled "Two Places at Once" has released to radio, and he couldn't be happier. This song was written by David Lee Murphy, Ira Dean, and Kim Tribble.  A quick online search of these guys and you will find they have penned some pretty major hit songs in country music. "Two Places at Once" is a song that transcends across the board to young and old alike.

"It's a message from one person to another when you simply can't be together, something we all can relate to," says Frank Ortega.  "I'm grateful to have this song and know these fantastic writers.  I feel like this song will help me reach a national and worldwide audience," relates Frank, "It is slated to release in the U.S., Australia, Canada, and the U.K. on May 13th. It will also be available for download on iTunes and other music download websites worldwide."

Frank's got a new set of wheels!

 

After many trips in vans, cars, trucks, and just about anything else you can think of, Frank's got a new set of wheels, and he's grateful! This new bus will allow Frank to travel the country with his band and share his music live with as many of you as possible.  Frank is happy to be involved with all the great organizations that support him, and pleased to display their logos on his tour bus.
